DJ Pro Lab - Class Is In Session...This is a very simple video on how to beat mix.  Sometimes you'll find that 2 records just wont mesh together.  Of course, common sense kicks in, and you realize that you will either have to speed up or slow down the track.

TIP: Start off with 2 of the same records, until you hone your beat matching skills.  Then take 2 songs that sound familiar, and see if you can beat match those.  Practice until you you've perfected this skill.

TEST: Pull out a crate of records, or set up a crate list in SERATO of random songs.  Set yourself up to record your session.  Press record, and go through each song, to see how many you can beat match.  Once your done, listen to your mixes, and you'll be able to see where you messed up or did good on each song.  This will help you build your 'skills' on the decks and you can determine where you need to practice.
