djprolab.com - about usABOUT US.

The DJ PRO LAB story started as a simple one.  Let's give something back to our loyal customer's and patrons.  We've been in the electronics repair and parts business for over 15 years, and the only reason we have been around for so long is because of our loyal customers.  Sure it was a rocky road, and there were times when we didn't think we would make it.  But here we are.

For this, we want to say thanks.  This is our way of giving back to you.  You'll find some stuff within these Do-It-Yourself pages that many other companies don't want you to be aware of - we don't care.  We want to empower you to be the master of your own world. We can only help with what we know (electronic repairs), but it's only a smal piece of a much larger puzzle, which you must collect all the pieces.  We've been a wasteful bunch of idiots these past couple of decades, and it has to stop NOW.  Otherwise, the future will be filled with misery, turmoil, and toxicity to the point where future generations wont know what the term 'greener pastures' signifies.

The information found within this section will help you in troubleshooting and repairing your own electronic equipment.  We'll try to cover as many topics as we can, but for the most part, we'll stick to what we specialize in, and that's DJ & PRO AUDIO equipment.  Of course, we'll eventually get into IPOD repair, Game System Repair, Consumer Electronics, Video, and other sections - all in due time!

In addition, if you find that you are not fully confident in attempting to repair your equipment, or if after watching the video or tutorial, you don't think you can safely accomplish the repair without causing more damage, please feel free to CONTACT THE MAIN SERVICE DEPT for assistance @ 1.866.668.1596 ext 1

Also, don't forget to check out our FORUMS - our techs are always browsing around.

We will slowly be adding videos, tutorials, and guides to this section over the next few months.  This is a large project with a small and dedicated 2 person team at it's core, and started because we felt that empowering our visitors with information on PROPERLY repairing and/or servicing their electronics equipment would actually be a better service to our society and world.  Think Global, act Local.  Fortunately for us, Local = Global - thanks to this wonderful wide world we call the internet.

A WORD ABOUT THE OTHER GUYS:
We've come across many other do-it-yourself videos about electronic repairs and such, from people who mean well, however, unfortunately many are misinformed, or do not provide a clear concept or understanding of the affect they have on their viewers when they provide incomplete, inaccurate, and incorrect instructions.  Which may or may not result in more damage to their unit.  In addition to the fatal risk involved with improper techniques being learned by novices who have no concept of electronic repairs.  Of course, we have to all start somewhere and on something, but all we ask is that EXTREME CAUTION be taken AT ALL TIMES when working on electronics.  This is not only for your own safety, but also, so that you don't cause more damage to your specific equipment.

It's great to learn how to fix your own things, and if everyone exercised this long lost forgotten skill, we would be a much more efficient and less wasteful society - which reminds me... don't forget to check out the OUR WORLD section on the environmental impact of our wasteful habits and the things you can do to help.

We will always be a work in progress, and as time progresses, we hope to have amassed a nice collection of information that will always be updated and useful to you.

So, dig in, be safe, and have fun!

Yours truly,

- OPTiC & BLUE

PS - If you'd like to contribute to this project, by all means, we welcome your assistance.  Please feel free to CONTACT US at your convenience.

PSS - We are also looking for strategic partners who share similar visions.  Be it a link exchange, banner exchange, content licensing, product reviews, affiliate program, marketing, sponsorship, or investment.  We are open to establishin new partnerships.

PSSS - Lastly, we especially want to hear from the assorted manufacturer's represented in our videos.  We want to support the brands that support the consumer.

Most importantly... We welcome our visitors feedback, comments, and support!

Electronics Recylcing

Ecycle

The use of electronic products has grown substantially over the past two decades, changing the way and the speed in which we communicate and how we get information and entertainment. Our growing reliance on electronics is illustrated by some remarkable figures. According to the Consumer Electronics Association (CEA), Americans own approximately 24 electronic products per household*.
